Between ski slope, MooserWirt and Verwall valley
Location & DirectionsHaus Steissbach stands next to the stream it is named after. The ski slope runs behind the house. It takes about two minutes on foot to reach the entry point.
The free village bus stops right in front of the house. In high season it runs about every ten minutes according to the timetable and connects the house with the mountain lifts and the centre of St. Anton.
The MooserWirt and several restaurants are within walking distance but out of earshot. The entrance to the Verwall valley is also nearby.
Getting Here

Coming from Innsbruck or Bregenz, you reach St. Anton via the Arlberg expressway S16. For the last stretch to the house, it is best to use a route planner with the full address.
In winter, winter tyres are part of the basic equipment. Depending on the weather and road conditions, snow chains may be required. Check the current traffic situation before setting off.

St. Anton am Arlberg has a train station with national and international long-distance connections. From the station you travel to Haus Steissbach by village bus or taxi.
Those arriving with skis or a lot of luggage can arrange the final stretch with a taxi company in advance.

The airports of Innsbruck, Zurich, Munich and Friedrichshafen are mainly suitable for arrival. From there you continue to St. Anton by train, rental car or organised transfer.

Many routes work without a car. The slope, the MooserWirt, several restaurants and the Verwall valley are reachable on foot. The free village bus stops right in front of the house.
Arrival, check-in and service
Check-in is possible from 1:00 p.m. at the latest, and earlier subject to availability. Check-out is by 9:00 a.m. Those arriving early can come from 8:00 a.m., park the car at the house, change and head straight to the slope.
Each apartment has one free parking space directly at the house. For several vehicles, please enquire in advance.
On the day of departure you can enjoy another ski day: a shower and secure luggage storage are available in the house.

Check-in is possible from 1:00 p.m. at the latest, and earlier subject to availability. You can arrive as early as 8:00 a.m. — park the car, change at the house and head straight to the slope.

Yes. Each apartment has one free parking space directly at the house. For several vehicles, please enquire in advance.
